Product Description New and retro model kits from the worlds finest kit manufacturers From the Manufacturer The M3 General Lee tank was developed in the early part of WWII when it was realised that the existing American tanks would be no match for the German armour then being used to occupy Europe. The Lee's main feature was its side mounted 75mm main gun and the tank also carried turret mounted 37mm gun. Lees were also used by the armies of Russia and Britain and featured prominently in the North Africa and Pacific campaigns.
